Relatively rare varietal that is considered to be perhaps the most tender of all the kale plants. An improved version of Red Russian kale, the two plants look strikingly similar with broad, purple-veined leaves that resemble oak leaves in shape. This varietal is so sweet that a bundle of freshly picked leaves is sure to please your palate any time during the growing season.
